Dave Donatoni gets ready to descend a rocky trail off the side of a mountain during the final round of Casey Folk’s Best in the Desert Series in Laughlin, Nevada in December of 1992. Dave admitted to Cycle News reporter Anne Van Beveren that he was riding like a “kook” that day and just finishing was an accomplishment. Even on an off day Dave still managed a top-10 overall (9th) and 3rd in class (Over-30 Pro) aboard his Honda CR250R. (Tom Van Beveren photo)
