Billy Frank and Jim Holley Race Trans-Cal at Ascot Park (1985)

Billy Frank (No. 73) leads Jim Holley (No. 24) at the Trans-Cal Series 250cc Pro race at Ascot Park in October of 1985. It was reported that Holley spent eight laps trying to find a way around Frank, before finally getting into the lead through a whoops section. Holley went on to win a close one over Frank with Russ Wageman taking third. (Kit Palmer photo)
