Ned Hart (11) riding the TBA Racing Suzuki to victory in the Dave Essex Memorial Endurance race in April of 1989. Hart teamed with Ward Cook to win the special fund-raising race put on by WERA at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Dave Essex was a racer and WERA riding instructor who died in a plane crash in Alaska in November of 1987. The funds from this endurance race went to Essex’s children.
