Bader Manneh was battling Eric Eaton for the lead in Trans-Cal action at Sand Hill Ranch in Brentwood, California, in October of 1984. Bader was on a brand new production 1985 Kawasaki KX250 and just as Bader was setting Eaton up for a pass attempt the strut on his Kawasaki’s rear shock broke and Bader was out of the race.
