Dan Butler Wins Flint Indoor Ice Race (1997)

Dan Butler is all smiles after winning the 37th Annual Flint Indoor Ice Race in January of 1997. It was a memorable night for Dan as he put his Gardner Honda up front and then managed to hold off ice racing king Chuck Springsteen to score the victory. It was the fulfilment of a promise Dan made after getting beat a month earlier at the Kold Kutter Pro Indoor Ice Race where he vowed to come back and win at Flint. He backed up his promise.
