Quick, how many Superbike racers can you name from Alberta, Canada? Well here’s one. It’s Peter Holzinger, from Banff, who made his way down to the U.S. to race a few AMA Superbike rounds in 2005 on his BlackFoot Mtrsprts/Shannon McKay Suzuki GSX-R1000. Peter raced the Fontana and Road America rounds. His best result came here in this shot from Elkhart Lake where he scored 24th, just behind JJ Roetlin and just in front of Brian Boyd in Sunday’s Race 2.
