Jimmy Filice Wins Loudon 250 Grand Prix (1992)

The Loudon AMA 250 Grand Prix podium in 1992 with Jimmy Filice (center) scoring victory over Canadian Rick Tripodi (left) and Rick Kirk (right). Filice ran off and hid in this race with 16.281 margin of victory. And it was a great ride for Tripodi, who qualified 11th and worked his way up to second by the end of the race. Equally impressive was Kirk, who crashed big in mid-week test session and raced with broken ribs and a badly bruised foot. That’s former racer and announcer Rich Chambers holding the microphone.
