Chad Reed (No. 103) on this Boost Mobile/Yamaha of Troy Yamaha YZ250, and Travis Pastrana (No. 199) on the factory Suzuki RM250, take a jump nearly side by side during practice for the San Diego Supercross in January of 2002. Pastrana would go on to finish a close second to David Vuillemin in the main event that night, Reed finished 5th. (Mitch Friedman photo)
