Another great shot from a bunch of old photos Colin Fraser found while cleaning out his parent’s house. This one is Rich Oliver’s Kawasaki KZ750 Superbike taken at Daytona in 1985. Now Rich’s KZ was an absolutely dinosaur in the days when the AMA Superbike grid was filled with a fleet of Honda VF750 Superbikes and the occasional Yamaha FZ750. If anyone raced a Kawasaki it more than likely would have been a newer generation GPz750. Still Rich soldiered on aboard the early-1980s KZ750 and even earned a top-10 finish on the bike at Laguna.
