For Wheelie Wednesday we go back to the 1974 Transatlantic Match Races and it’s Gary Nixon throttling up on his Suzuki. Unfortunately for the Americans, Nixon’s Suzuki ran out of gas on the final lap in one of the races while running near the front. Those points would have given the Americans the win, but as it was the Brits won by 14 points. Even with the DNF Nixon was the third highest points man for Team USA behind Kenny Roberts and Gene Romero.
