At a blustery and cold Loudon ’91 it’s Miguel Duhamel on the Camel Honda leading Mike Smith (No. 68 Yoshimura Suzuki), Freddie Spencer (No. 19 Two Brothers Honda), Jamie James (No. 2 Vance & Hines Yamaha) and Doug Polen (No. 23 Ferracci Ducati). What a great mix of riders and machines in this shot. Duhamel finished runner up that day to Scott Russell, who ran away and hid from the rest of the field. Several riders, including Polen and Spencer dropped out due to face shield fogging. (Henny Ray Abrams photo)
