Was saddened to hear of the passing of road racer Pat Hennen this past weekend. Pat was the first American to win a Grand Prix Road Race when he scored victory at the 1976 Finnish 500cc World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix. Here’s a photo of Pat accepting an award for being the top scorer of the 1977 Transatlantic Trophy when the Americans defeated the Brits. (Cycle News photo)
