Daryl Folks at the Baja 1000 (1989)

Daryl Folks just after he crossed the finish line in La Paz as runner up in the 1989 Baja 1000. Folks and teammates Danny Hammel and Scott Morris finished just six minutes behind the winning Kawasaki of Danny LaPorte, Ted Hunnicutt and Larry Roeseler. Check out the size of the headlights and the gas tank on that KTM! After racing Daryl became a trail advocate and helped reopen many trail routes in his state of Nevada.
