A wonderful action capture by David Maltais showing Torleif Hansen wheelieing his Kawasaki out of a corner in front of KTM’s Andre Malherbe in second moto of the West German round of the 1977 FIM 250cc Motocross World Championship. Hansen held a 20 second lead with four laps to go in the moto when the rear tire on his Kawasaki went flat. Hansen struggled to the finish, but was passed in the closing laps by Vladmir Kavinov and Malherbe.
