The Genuine Suzuki Accessories AMA 750 Superpsort race at Road America in 2001 was one of the best in series history. Corona EBSCO Suzuki’s Jimmy Moore led in the early going, before Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Ben Spies, in his first full season of pro racing, came up to challenge and took his turn at the front. Then it was Chris Ulrich, on the Roadracingworld.com/Vesrah Racing Suzuki, recovering from a poor start and working his way all the way up from eighth to the lead. This photo shows Ulrich (No. 18) leading Moore (No. 86) and Spies (No. 11). The trio continued their battle back and forth the entire was and at the flag it was Moore edging Spies and Ulrich in one of the closest three-way finishes ever in AMA 750 Supersport.
