Charlie Bowles is interviewed by Roxy Rockwood after Bowles won the novice class of the Harley-Davidson Dirt Track Series on the Half-Mile Volusia County Speedway in Barberville, Florida, during Bike Week 1982. Bowles had blown up his Honda the night before and he and his team worked all day at fellow racer Mike Hilley’s dad’s shop to get his bike rebuilt for the races at Barberville.
