Scott Greenwood Leads the Pack at Loudon (2002)

Scott Greenwood got the jump on the rest of the field in a Formula USA 600 Sportbike race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in June of 2002. Greenwood (No. 21 Suzuki GSX-R600) leads Tim Bemisderfer (No. 511 Honda CBR600F4i) and pole winner Jeff Wood (No. 19 Suzuki GSX-R600). Greenwood led the race until two laps to go when he pitched it away giving Eric Wood (on a Buell) the victory. Also visible in the shot is Matt Wait (No. 150 Honda CBR600F4i). Michael Barnes and Larry Pegram rounded out the podium finisher in this race. Australian Craig Connell went on to win the series championship over Pegram and Barnes.
