Road America Sportbike Battle (2000)

Parriott topped this group, scoring a podium finish (third) on his Parriott Honda Racing Team Honda CBR600F4 (behind winner Damon Buckmaster and second-place Lee Acree). Weichel finished seventh and Junge was 19th out of the 51 starters. The Formula USA Series (which was the overall name of the national series and by this time no longer ran a Formula USA event, but ran instead Unlimited Superbike, Sportbike, the Aprilia Cup and a Buell Lightning Series) was promoted by PACE, the same group that ran the AMA Supercross Series.
