Owen Weichel  (18), Brian Parriott (46) and Mark Junge (57) enjoy a good dice in the Sportbike race during the Wrenchhead.com Formula USA Series visit to Road America in May of 2000. Parriott topped this group, scoring a podium finish (third) on his Parriott Honda Racing Team Honda CBR600F4 (behind winner Damon Buckmaster and second-place Lee Acree). Weichel finished seventh and Junge was 19^th out of the 51 starters. The Formula USA Series (which was the overall name of the national series and by this time no longer ran a Formula USA event, but ran instead Unlimited Superbike, Sportbike, the Aprilia Cup and a Buell Lightning Series) was promoted by PACE, the same group that ran the AMA Supercross Series.
