Rich Schlachter shares the podium with second-place James Stephens (left) and Donny Greene, who finished third, after Schlachter, who raced for MacLean Racing Honda, won the Pocono AMA 250 Grand Prix in June of 1985. Schlachter was on a hot streak, having won a week earlier in Loudon as well. I believe Stephens raced a Rotax-powered Spondon, braking up an otherwise Honda-filled top five (Mile Baldwin and Brad Holman finished fourth and fifth on Hondas. Greene went on to win the championship that season; his second of what would ultimately be three-consecutive AMA 250GP titles.
