Start of the FUSA SportBike final at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October of 2004 with Robert Jensen (No. 52), Scott Harwell (No. 2), Scott Greenwood (No. 1), Jeff Wood (No. 9), and Mike Himmelsbach (No. 10). The race was a showdown between Jensen and Wood. Essentially the rider who beat the other would be series champ. After passing early leader Michael Barnes, Jensen and Wood had a two-way battle for the rest of the race. Jensen led most of the way, but Wood was just a few feet back for most of the final. In the end Jensen worked through lapped traffic a bit better than Wood and scored the victory and championship by a single point.
