Looking at this excellent capture from photographer Dave Back you might conclude that Martin Cardenas has a great future as an AMA Grand National Flat Track racer should he ever decide to give it a try. This is Cardenas throttling up (where’s the traction control?) his factory Yoshimura Suzuki during the recent AMA Superbike weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Unfortunately for Cardenas, hanging it out like this in the rain caught up with him and he crashed out of the lead in Saturday’s race one. He came back strong to score a podium finish in Sunday’s race at NJMP.
