Motorcycle racing icons Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez race under an iconic tower in the Pagoda at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the 2014 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix. This is the fourth version of Indy’s Pagoda since the original wooden Pagoda erected in 1913 to handle the officials, timers and scorers and media. The original tower burned down in the mid-1920s and was replaced by a very similar structure. The second Pagoda lasted until 1956 when a glass and steel structure went up. The third version was replaced with the present structure in 1998.
