Moodie in the Daytona 200 on 400-speed Film

Craig Moodie races his Dry Rider Racing Yamaha R6 in the 2009 Daytona 200. This was shot on Kodak Max 400 film. For some odd reason, call it wistful nostalgia, I decided to take my Nikon F100 film camera alongside my digital gear to Daytona that year to shoot a few rolls of film for fun. I shot a variety of film just to see what the modern –day stuff looked like since I hadn’t shot film at a road race for maybe 15 years. This Kodak Max 400 was cheap drugstore print film and it produced decent results for prints, but being scanned into digital its grain really shows. Some like the look.
