Las Vegas EnduroCross Track Map and Sneak Peak Challenging track taking shape for opening round of 2014

(NEWS RELEASE)

IRVINE, Calif. (May 1) – The track for the opening round of the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship, fueled by Monster Energy and presented by Lucas Oil is taking shape on the floor of the Orleans Arena. The series kicks off on Friday night in Las Vegas, a day before the Monster Energy Supercross finals.

Right off the start racers will launch off the top of two sea containers—an elevated twist on the all-important holeshot. Those containers serve as a two lane tunnel that the riders will navigate through each lap as well. The world’s best off-road racers will be challenged by a huge fire-wood pit leading into a gnarly rock section, which ends with a U-turn. Follow that up with a pond, massive log pile in a first ever Pro Only lane and an elevated rock turn leading into the matrix—a devilishly spaced multiple log section—just before the finish line. The inaugural track for the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross truly crams an entire day’s worth of obstacles into every lap.
