UNADILLA TO HOST PRESTIGIOUS MARQUIS BIKE SHOW AT MX REWIND

New Berlin, NY-April 28, 2014- Unadilla MX is proud to announce today the return of The Unadilla Marquis Bike Show, which is being held May 31-June 1, 2014 at the annual MX Rewind event.

The Unadilla Marquis Bike Show will consist of a display showing some of the best and most historic off road bikes on the planet.A panel of significant guest judges will determine the MX Rewind Best in Show award for each category.

“We are reallylooking forwardto once again featuring the best vintage bikes out there” said Unadilla’s Greg Robinson. “Being able to bring together a large number of the best classic bikes all in one place is one of the great features of MX Rewind. While we spend the weekend celebrating the history of the great sports of motocross and off-road racing, having actual bikes on display that people can walk around is afantastic real life representation of all that history. At the same time, we also know that a lot of people take great pride in their bikes and the work they have put into them. While these bikes may not be the best of the best, they deserve to be seen as well. Over the last two years, the two bike showoptions proved to be a big hit and that is why we chose to continue to offer both levels at the MX Rewind bike show.”

There are several classes for participants to enter – including: Classic Iron (Pre 1960); Torsten Hallman Era (1960’s); The Roger DeCoster Era (1970’s); The Two Stroke Era (1980’s); Classic Contemporary (1990’s Era); Factory Works Bike; Mini-Competition; Mini-Entry Level; Woods Bike/Enduro; Best European Bike; Rarest Bike.

For those who have a vintage bike that they are proud of but may not quite fit the “Marquis” level, MX Rewind has a spot for you too. Building on this year’s popular “Ride ‘Em Don’t Hide ‘Em” bike show, this bike show will once again be for those bikes that fans and racers just wish to show off and let others admire. This non-juried show is open to all.

About Unadilla MX:
Unadilla MX began promoting Motocross races at its current facility in New Berlin, NY in 1969. Run by the Robinson Family since its inception, Unadilla hosted the Inter Am, Trans Am, Trans USA, and began hosting the 250cc U.S. Grand Prix in 1978. It was the first track in the U.S. to host the prestigious MX des Nations in 1987, and has been a stop on the American Pro National MX circuit since 1992.
