New Berlin, NY-April 9, 2014– Unadilla MX and The Legends and Hero’s of Motocross are pleased to announce that the famed Team Cup Challenge will return for its third consecutive running at this year’s MX Rewind event, which is being held May 30 through June 1, 2014, and with support of Team Cup Challenge title sponsor Maxima USA.

Vintage racers will pair up with their favorite champ and compete for this casual and fun “national title”. Racers will receive Full Factory treatment and actually race side by side with their favorite motocross legend.

This year’s Team Cup Challenge will feature a GP moto tag team format with the legends and their teams. Teams can be parents and their children, husbands and wives, friends of friends, and whatever creative arrangement you can come up with in order to secure this prestigious trophy.

The Team Cup Challenge legends will be led by a list of champions that is long and distinguished. It reads like a who’s-who of motocross history. Joining the T.C.C. will be Motocross Champion Guy Cooper, New England legends John Dowd and Doug Henry, Moto great Barry Higgins, Moto great Mickey Kessler, National Motocross Champion Ron Lechien, Supercross and Motocross National Champion Jeff Stanton, 500cc National Motocross Champion and 1st American MX des Nations Champion Chuck Sun and, New York’s own National Motocross and Supercross champion, Jimmy “The Jammer” Weinert, among others!

Each team that participates will receive a package of swag from the Team Cup Challenge sponsors and the bragging rights of racing the Team Cup Challenge. This year’s entry will be $200.00 per rider and funds will again be used to help cover the travel costs to get the legends to MX Rewind. Here is a list of the swag you will get:
