This video features short news clips leading up to a WERA Formula USA race at Indianapolis Raceway Park in the early 1990s.  Riders Rich Oliver, Chuck Graves and Nick Morehouse are interviewed. The funniest part of this video was when I convinced sportscaster Scott Hoke to actually ride one of the race bike (this was in the days before two-seaters). He went out guided by Wes Cooley and crashed in the tight final turn with the bike smashed into a barrier. Hoke came walking down pit road and went right into this bit you see starting the 3:20 mark. He ended up actually being pretty beat up, but, ever the professional broadcaster, was able to finish the report before going to the track EMTs to be checked out.
