Our graph-man Tracy Hagen is traveling this week and is in a remote area of the world with very little internet access. He still managed to send get this graph out from the jungle, but he was unable to actually watch and report on the race.
The graph for Indy’ MotoGP shows nothing terribly exciting, although it is interesting to note Valentino Rossi’s charge in the closing 10 laps to catch and move past Stefan Bradl, Alvaro Bautista and Cal Crutchlow. Rossi loves to chase and pass so I suspect he left Indy with a satisfied feeling, even though he was off the podium.
Also look at Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo shaving a bit of Marc Marquez’ lead in the closing laps as they battled for position.
Also Hiroshi Aoyama and Hector Barbera were going at it in the late stages, in spite of battling for 15th. It goes to show you the rider you want to beat the most is your own teammate.
Thanks Tracy for finding a way to get us the graph this week from the jungles of Asia. Here’s to hoping the solar-power packs hold up.
