Barber Superbike Press Conference

It was a weird Superbike race at Barber Saturday with five riders jumping the start and being given a five-second penalty. Josh Hayes and Roger Hayden were two of the riders getting the penalty, yet they overcame the five-second disadvantage and finished first and second. In fact the only rider who actually lost a position due to a jump start was Larry Pegram. For Hayes it was his third straight win and moved him past Pegram to third in the series standings. Martin Cardenas still leads the championship over Josh Herrin.
