Joey Osowski races the Cycle Tech Suzuki GSXR750 through traffic during a WERA National Endurance race at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in August of 1985. Cycle Tech boasted one of the most impressive lineups in the history of WERA National Endurance racing. The team started with Wes Cooley, David Aldana and Osowski. When Cooley was hurt in an AMA National at Sears Point early that year the team brought in a 16-year-old up and comer named John Kocinski as a replacement rider. Cycle Tech won the 1985 WERA National Endurance Championship.

That looks like Avery Innis’ KZ650 in front of him with Bob Patten on board. Bob, Ed Key and I rode that year for Avery. Took two class wins and top 5 overall. Bill the Cat Racing!
