Happy Tuesday Penton Fans!

I know most everyone was probably getting tired of all the updates we were sending leading up to the deadline so I thought I would give everyone’s inbox a break. 🙂

A lot of neat things have happened in the month since the campaign ended so I thought I would provide a quick update.

1) We will officially be in Amherst, OH on March 6-8 on the first research and location scouting trip for the film. The purpose will be to meet more of the folks associated with all the stories and see what stories we are missing and where people can be located. I will be attending my first “POG Meeting” (Penton Owner’s Group) to hear more stories then Jack Penton and Paul Danik will be taking me around the Amherst area to see locations for shooting and meet more people.

We anticipate beg inning to shoot later in the month of March, first of April. There are 50 names on the interview list and we’re sure it will grow to 75-100 by the time we are done.

2) We have heard from both Alpinestars and Bell Helmets for providing gear for our re-creation shoots we’ll be doing this year. (Working on others)

3) Firmed up our trip to Europe for the end of June, first of July with John and Jack. So far, Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Sweden may be on the schedule.

4) We have also been contacted by a firm in Hollywood about helping us get the movie distributed by a theatre chain in some markets!

5) Just got back from the Indianapolis Dealer Expo where we had a “John Penton Story” booth with special guests on Saturday…John and Jack Penton signing autographs. We got contact info from 67 motorcycle dealers and clubs interested in hosting a screening in their town in 2014 when the movie comes out.
