Tom Kipp leads a group of riders that includes Don Canet (No. 90), Fritz Kling (No. 421) and Kevin Rentzell (No. 48) during a WERA Pro Formula USA race at Indianapolis Raceway Park in October of 1989. Canet, riding a Suzuki GSXR1100, eventually topped this group, finishing sixth ahead of Kling, Kipp and Rentzell. Kling and Kipp were both riding Yamaha FZR750s. By all rights Rentzell should have never been running with this pack on the high-speed IRP circuit. He was racing on a Yamaha FZR600!
