Downie in Daytona

Chuck Downie races his Honda CBR600 in the AMA 750 Supersport race at Daytona in March of 1990. Downie was a Canadian regular, who came down and raced in the AMA series during the early 1990s. He scored a slew of top-10 finishes in the 600 and 750 Supersport classes. In 1992 he even managed to finish in the top 10 in AMA 600 Supersport in spite of not racing the entire series. Downie later became one of the leading race mechanics in Canada, winning the Canadian Tuner of the Year in 2002.
