Deano Swims (No. 56) nails the holeshot as Steve Nardiello (No. 92) gets caught napping and Mark Schledorn (No. 290) gets a nice power wheelie off the line. This was the front row of a WERA Formula 1 race at Roebling Road Raceway in July of 1986. Swims went on to win the race over Schledorn. Nardiello took fourth behind John France. Swims is part of an American team of riders going to Australia later this month for that country’s equivalent of the Barber Vintage Festival.
