Rick Delgado races his Yamaha FZR750 in the Memphis round of the WERA Toyota/Dunlop Formula USA Series in September of 1989. I remember Delgado, who I think was out of Texas, as a rider who quickly became a very fast WERA racer in the late ‘80s and had some solid results in events like F-USA races and the WERA GNF. On this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park Delgado finished eighth.
