Joel,

I turned off the comments, hopefully just temporarily, until I can restructure and update the site. The problem was my site is based on outdated programming and spam comments eventually became overwhelming.

I’m with you. I feel the comments are an integral part of the site and the plan is to bring them back in the not-too-distant future.
