Rockingham Endurance Start

Heavyweight bikes are already heading to the first turn, the Mediumweights machines are just launching and the Lightweights are waiting their turn at the start of the WERA National Endurance race at North Carolina Motor Speedway (aka Rockingham) in May of 1988. It was a huge field of teams racing on one of the gnarliest tracks ever used for motorcycle road racing.
