Suzuki mounted Gary Goodfellow leads a group of talented Honda riders down the middle straightaway at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, during the 1987 AMA Superbike race. Chasing Goodfellow is Dan Chivington (No. 53), Doug Chandler (No. 10) and John Ashmead (No. 37). Chandler got the best of this group, finishing fifth, just ahead of Goodfellow and Chivington. Ashmead did not finish.
