Bruce Rice races his Kawasaki EX500 in a WERA D Superbike race at Grattan Raceway in April of 1988. Rice scored a podium finish in the race. While overshadowed by Yamaha’s excellent FZR400, Kawasaki’s EX500 proved to be a capable road racing machine with the right rider.
