Jeffrey Carver, Jr. (No. 23) leads the pack through turn four in a Heat race during the AMA Grand National at I-96 Speedway in July of 2011. Among those coming up behind Carver include Logan Myers (No. 24), Johnny Lewis (No. 10), Jethro Halbert (No. 69), Tim Eades (No. 72), Chad Cose (No. 49), John Raun Wood (No. 88), Michael Kirkness (No. 87), Bryan Smith (No. 42) and Nichole Cheza (No. 15). Smith worked his way to the front to win the qualifying race over Carver and Halbert.
