Caz II Racing’s Audible at Road Atlanta

Caz II Racing came to Road Atlanta for the WERA National Endurance event in hopes of challenging Team Suzuki Endurance and the Human Race Team for the overall victory. Things were going well with Don Canet on the bike, but co-rider Al Garza had never been to Road Atlanta. It’s a difficult track to learn, especially during a race, and Garza found himself well off the pace.  In the middle of the race the team approached Chuck Graves about riding. He agreed and somehow was signed up as a rider as the race was going on. With Canet and Graves doing the riding Caz ended up finishing a solid third overall, behind Team Suzuki and the Humans.  Signing Graves proved to be a great move and you have to give a lot of credit to Garza for recognizing he needed more time on the track and agreeing to bring on Graves for the sake of the team.
