New Orleans, LA (October 5, 2012) – LTD Racing’s Huntley Nash worked
on improving his lap times at the opening day of practice and
qualifying at Nola Motorsports Park. The promising 20 year-old had
never ridden at the new circuit before and concentrated on
familiarizing himself with the track’s layout after not attending the
test at the circuit earlier this year.

Nash, a SuperSport race winner learning the ropes in the
ultra-competitive DSB class, trimmed his morning lap time of 1:49.560
to 1:47.400, even though he ran out of time in his bid to further
improve after a tire change at the end of the session.

“It was a tough day coming here for the first time and trying to put
the track together,” said Nash. “I certainly would have liked to have
posted better times, but we’ll work on it and improve. I got one lap
on the new tire at the end and would have liked to have gotten some
more but we ran out of time.”

Nash will race the first of two 18-lap contests tomorrow at 2 PM local time.
