Morrissey, Susmark & Cupp – Grattan (1985)

This is an interesting mix of bikes racing in a WERA B Superbike race at Grattan in July of 1985. Tim Morrissey (No. 854) leads the way on a Suzuki GS750 ahead of Ken Susmark (No. 12) on a Suzuki GSXR750 and Bill Cupp (No. 70) on a Honda VF750 Interceptor. Susmark’s machine must have been a Canadian model since the GSXR didn’t arrive in the U.S. until the next year. Using the state-of-the-art Gixxer, Susmark came out on top of this group. Morrissey later was part of the WERA National Endurance Champions the Human Race Team.
