AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Riders at the Brickyard

Vance & Hines XR1200 riders line up for a photo shoot set up by photographer Brian J. Nelson, on the front straightaway at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I was there I had my little pocket camera with me so I snapped a shot. The riders are lined up in front of the famous yard of bricks. Years ago the entire two-and-a-half mile IMS oval was paved in brick. Sometime in the late 1930s they paved most of the track. Harley-Davidson is the only surviving manufacturer that was part of the very first race held at the historic track in 1909.
