The WERA Air Tech Formula II race at Seattle International Raceway in June of 1991 was one of the better WERA Pro Series races of the year. It was a four bike race nearly the entire way. Kenny Roberts Jr. and Alan Scott of Rainey Racing Yamaha swapped the lead back and forth while Donny Greene led at times on his Dianetics-sponsored Yamaha. All the while local ace Mike Sullivan was right in the thick of things. Michael Graves was also in the lead pack early before his bike expired. With three laps to go Roberts crashed after drafting by Scott and hitting some bumps on the outside of turn two. That left the race to Scott, Greene or Sullivan. Greene made a pass with two turns to go to take the point, but Scott in a fantastic move drove underneath Greene on the last turn to win by a half bike length.

Kenny Roberts Jr. (No. 17) leads Rainey Racing teammate Alan Scott (No. 44), Donny Greene (No. 3) and local favorite Mike Sullivan (No. 74) in the WERA Air Tech Formula II race at Seattle International Raceway in June of 1991.
