AMA Superbike racing is lucky to have a photographer of Brian J. Nelson’s caliber covering their events. I saw a lot of photos from Mid-Ohio this past weekend and this is hands down my favorite. The funny thing is, it’s just a simple moment of Yoshimura Suzuki’s Blake Young leaving the pits. Most photographers would not see a photo op here, but Brian made this beautiful shot from a low vantage point using a wide angle lens featuring pillowy clouds as a background. Perfect.
