Gilbert Johnson (No. 819) leads a tight battle for third in the WERA A Superbike Novice final at Grattan Raceway in July of 1984. Johnson, riding a Kawasaki KZ1000, leads Gerald Pocisk on the No. 444 Suzuki GS700E and Ned Hart on his No. 229 Honda VR750. Hart got around the other two to score third. Pocisk was fourth and Johnson took fifth.
