Floridian Mark Pastir leads Dave Leach during the 1990 Daytona 600 Supersport race. Leach was primarily known for his prowess at the Isle of Man, but he also was a solid closed course racer as well. He finished fifth at Daytona that year. Pastir meanwhile scored a very credible 14th in the 54-rider field. Both riders were on Yamaha FZR600s. Jeff Farmer was the surprise winner of the race that year over Vance & Hines Yamaha riders Thomas Stevens and David Sadowski.
