Sharon Earthman races the Mars Racing Suzuki at Indianapolis Raceway Park during the WERA Power-Mist/Performance Machine National Endurance Series 4-Hour in July of 1993. It turned out to be a bad day for Earthman. She hit oil laid down by another bike in the high-speed turn 13, got sideways and was spat off her Suzuki, flying about 50 feet through the air before landing. She broke her foot and some fingers in the incident.
