Arclight vs. Team Suzuki Endurance (1993)

Damon Harvey races the Arclight Racing II Honda CBR900RR in front of Team Suzuki Endurance rider Chuck Graves coming onto the front straight at Putnam Park Road Course in Mt. Meridian, Indiana, on May 22, 1993. Riding a Suzuki GSXR1100, Team Suzuki’s Graves and Kurt Hall went on to win that day’s WERA Power-Mist/Performance Machine 6-Hour Endurance National. Arclight Racing II finished third in the Heavyweight Superbike class, sixth overall, with Doug Bell, Tony Tugwell and Pete Martins sharing riding chores with Harvey. If Harvey looks big on the CBR it’s because he was one of the taller road racers in WERA, standing at around 6’ 4” tall.
